Residential services
Residential foundation work is still offered where we are established: the Magdalen Islands and the Lower St. Lawrence.
In the Magdalen Islands we have been the only provider for foundation work for six years. In the Lower St. Lawrence we take the residential jobs that touch our specialty: the ones where the foundation has to be rebuilt in full, or the building lifted.
Here is what is still offered.
French drains
Reliable site drainage, with a 25-year warranty and camera inspection to diagnose infiltration. The drain gets redone at the same time as the foundation when the building is lifted: that is the only moment when access is complete.
Waterproofing and insulation
Membrane and waterproofing matched to the type and the age of the foundation, with exterior insulation. There is no single right answer: the treatment changes with what the foundation has already been through.
Exterior insulation prevents the cracks caused by freeze and thaw cycles, rather than repairing them afterwards.
Crack injection
A crack filled without understanding why it appeared always comes back. We find the cause first, then inject the crack so it does not return.
Pre-purchase inspection
Knowing what is under the house before buying it, not after. A detailed report on the condition of the foundation, the drains and the soil, with the repairs to plan for and a sense of what they cost.
Elsewhere in Quebec
Outside the Islands and the Lower St. Lawrence, we take residential work when the job involves lifting or moving the building. For a drain or a single crack, a local contractor will serve you better, and we will say so.

A structure to lift or move?
We come to the site, survey the structure, the access and the constraints, then come back with a method and a fixed price.
